TB Testing
The TB antigens used in a tuberculin skin test are called purified protein derivative (PPD). A measured amount of PPD in a shot is put under the top layer of skin on your forearm. This is a good test for finding a TB infection. It is often used when symptoms, screening, or testing, such as a chest X-ray, show that a person may have TB.

Our physician uses a physical exam to see how the body is performing. Depending on a patient’s personal health history, physican may choose to focus on certain areas of a physical exam. People with a family history of heart disease may receive additional blood pressure checks, blood tests, and cholesterol screenings. PAP Smears
It is the best tool to detect precancerous conditions and hidden, small tumors that may lead to cervical cancer. If detected early, cervical cancer can be cured.
Pap screen testing should begin at age 21. Routine screening is recommended every three years for women 21-65 years old. For women 30 to 65 years who have a normal Pap test with a negative HPV test, screening every five years is considered adequate.
